This weekend will be the one year anniversary of Mary and I speed hiking the Grand Canyon, Rim to Rim to Rim (overnight on North rim) in not much over 9 hours each way. It was so much fun. I live for that kind of thing.
That seems like 100 years ago and a different life now.
Sometimes a positive attitude does not feel like it will be enough. It’s hard for worry not to set in when you have to start shopping for electric wheelchairs and ways to stay in your home.
I did have to chuckle when, somehow, I ended up racing two electric wheelchairs around the cluttered showroom with the store manager. Some things never change.
