Let’s have an honest conversation.
Is the pandemic Donald Trump’s fault? Of course not. Would our situation have been much better had his administration not disbanded the global health security team in 2018? Perhaps not. Who knows? But, does it bother anyone that today’s press conference spent much time with him congratulating himself and Mike Pence while having his guest speakers each complementing his leadership? Does it bother anyone that he blamed Barack Obama by name as being the culprit of any deficiencies of the present situation? Is Trump taking the covid-19 pandemic seriously now after poo-pooing it early on? It seems so, but only after the resulting stock market hit following his first national address on the crisis.
Around the world today, narcissistic leaders seem to be the trend. The list is long. Is this what works, is this our future???
Agree 100%, David.

That was a terribly frustrating press conference to watch, and it seemed as if all the people on the stage were sucking up to the narcissistic Trump. It bothered me greatly that he blamed Obama. But I’m not surprised that he did that.

How did I miss this post? Trump is all about Trump, and intelligence and study/learning are not his strong suits. I try not to dwell on Trump, but I am worried about our future with him in it. I hope and pray that he will not be re-elected.
